Costa Pinto Porto club president talked
about the Spanish goalkeeper Iker Casillas , who joined the team in Portugal
last summer coming from Real Madrid .
Costa said during a press statement :
" singing with Casillas was one of
the season’s worst deals and was the reason we lost too many
games when we have contracted with him believing he still maintains his level ,
but it turns out that this is completely wrong ."
"The salary Casillas receives caused a
large deficit budget of the club , and will be approved on the departure of
goalkeeper in the summer , especially that
the American team New York City wants to get his services ."
